A new project titled “Enhancing Youth Earthquake Resilience Through Digital Interventions” is being launched in partnership with Università degli Studi di Messina from Italy, Soumen Humanistinen Ammattikorkeakoulu Oy Humak University from Finland, and from Türkiye, Marmara University, the Union of Marmara Municipalities, Harran University Migration Policy Application and Research Center, and our Association. The project, which will be carried out through various activities across three different countries, aims to strengthen the earthquake resilience of young people in Türkiye, Italy, and Finland, focusing on empowering them with essential knowledge and skills.
In this context, the project seeks to enhance youth resilience by utilizing technological and academic perspectives, ensuring that young people are effectively informed about earthquake preparedness and response strategies, and supporting their active participation in decision-making processes. Preliminary meetings for the project activities have begun, and the implementation of these activities will commence shortly.
